Can I file a chapter 7 Bankruptcy.?
I have a ton of debt from credit cards and hospital bills. I don’t want to do a chapter 13. I own nothing. Is there a possibility they will not let me do a chapter 7? My husband and I have split up and split the debt and we really have no money. are the rules very strict? i live in lousiville, ky. any info would be great!
The rules have become more strict, and yes, there is a good chance that you will not be allowed to file for chapter 7. Speak with a bankruptcy lawyer for a definitive answer.
